There are cross-country ski programs in communities all over Northern Maine.
Remember that most of these programs are run through the generosity of volunteers working with their local sport clubs. Consider supporting your ski community and local club by volunteering or becoming a member.
Ashland
What: Ashland Ski Program
Who: Youth through middle school
When: Wednesdays, after school to 4:30

Caribou
What: Friday Fundamentals
Who: Adult skiers of all abilities
When: Fridays at 6:00 pm
Where: Caribou High School Ski Trails
Cost: Free, optional Northern Skiers Club membership ($15/year individual)

Who: Youth grades 3-6

Who: Youth grades 4th - 8th
When: Saturdays 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Where: 10th Mountain Center, Fort Kent

Who: Anyone over 18

What: Riverside Racers (middle school) & 4th-5th grade Ski Program
Who: Grades 6 – 8 for racing program; Grades 4th - 5th for intro to skiing & racing
When: Tue., Wed., and Thur. at 2:45 for Riverside Racers; Wednesdays 2:45 for 4th-5th graders; Fridays at 2:45 for all.

When: Mondays 3:25 pm – 4:30 pm; Advanced group also Thursdays 3:25-4:40

Cost: $20 program fee, plus PVSC membership
